Aegean Autumn Table - A Demonstration Cooking Class

Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, 7-9pm

Experience the cozy, heartwarming flavors of autumn through the culinary traditions of the Aegean. In this class, we’ll craft a seasonal menu inspired by the sun, sea, and harvest of Greece—think roasted vegetables, fragrant herbs, golden olive oil, and comforting Mediterranean spices. 

Appetizer:

  • Roasted Red Pepper & Walnut Muhammara with Warm Pita - muhammara is a rich, smoky, and slightly spicy Middle Eastern dip made primarily from roasted red peppers, walnuts, breadcrumbs, olive oil, and garlic,

Soup/Salad:

  • Lentil Soup ( Fake) with Cumin, Carrot, and Lemon (Warming, healthy, and hearty)

Main Course:

  • Stuffed Eggplant (Imam Bayildi-style) with Herbed Rice (Vegetarian and deeply flavorful)

    Imam Bayildi is a classic dish of the Mediterranean table — tender eggplants gently simmered in extra virgin olive oil and filled with a fragrant mixture of sweet onions, ripe tomatoes, and garlic, finished with fresh herbs.

Dessert:

  • Orange-Scented Olive Oil Cake with Yogurt Glaze (Moist and subtly sweet with fall citrus notes)

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
Cost: $95 per person, Recipes will be provided.

Mediterranean Gatherings

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, 7-9pm

Gather around the table and experience the heart of Mediterranean hospitality in this hands-on cooking class. We’ll prepare a delicious spread of shareable dishes inspired by family-style meals from Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, and beyond—flavorful dips, vibrant salads, savory pies, and more.

Appetizer:

  • Homemade Spanakopita Triangles with Spinach, Leek & Feta

Salad:

  • Roasted Beet & Arugula Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette and Goat Cheese

Main Course:

  • Braised Chicken with Olives, Artichokes & Preserved Lemon over Couscous (Rich, comforting, and great for colder nights)

Dessert:

  • Date-Walnut Baklava Bites with a touch of Orange Blossom Syrup

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
