She graduated from Lehigh University where she was recruited to row on the woman’s crew team. She was the novice women’s captain and was nominated for most Outstanding Freshman Athlete. Her boat medaled at Dad Vail’s National Regatta, one of the largest collegiate regatta’s in the world.

Realizing challenging one’s self by trying new and different things, Jenny also competed on Lehigh’s women’s rugby team, Lehigh’s cycling team and was a team leader for Lehigh’s Steel Battalion (Army ROTC program) where she competed on the Ranger Challenge Team.

While on the cycling team at Lehigh and having both a competitive swimming and cross country background from high school she started to compete in triathlons. Since 2007 she has competed in dozens of races from sprint to Ironman distance triathlons. She has medaled and won numerous races overall for females. She finished Ironman Florida in a time of 10:52 where she came in 3rd in her age group. She also qualified and competed in Ironman 70.3 World Championships. She is still currently competing in triathlons and has also branched off and competed in both off road XTERRA triathlons and endurance adventure races.

During college is where she started to teach a variety of fitness classes including spin, boot camp and aerobics. Also during the summer she helped organize and coach a “Learn to Row” program for high school athletes.

After college Jenny followed one of her many dreams and worked at Dolphin Quest Oahu where she learned how to train dolphins and other marine animals. She then returned to the Philadelphia area where she worked as a personal trainer, boot camp and yoga instructor fulltime. During this time is where she started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Platoon Jiu Jitu’s Master Noah Spear and Master Rilion Gracie (son of Carlos Gracie the creater of BJJ) where she competed and medaled in national tournaments. She is now currently a brown belt.

She got another opportunity to follow her passion for working with animals and moved down in Miami, FL once again to work as a marine mammal trainer. While down in Florida she also held a job as an event coordinator and fit specialist at a local Miami bicycle shop and continued to personal trainer part-time.

Jenny is now back in the Philadelphia area once again working fulltime as a personal trainer, yoga and boot camp instructor, she has realized this is where her passion lives in helping others set, work towards and achieve their goals from competing in their first triathlon to living a healthier life.
